Sessions Is Now Open to Appointing An Outside Counsel to Investigate Obama Scandals

Attorney General Jeff Sessions revealed during an interview Thursday that he was possibly open to appointing someone outside the Trump administration to review the actions taken by former President Barack Obama’s Department of Justice. He made the astonishing admission when questioned by former Reagan administration official and radio show host Hugh Hewitt about the previous administration’s litany of scandals. “I’m a proud veteran of the Department of Justice, as you are, but the IRS case, the Fast and Furious case, Secretary (Hillary) Clinton’s server … the Department of Justice came under great criticism,” the host said.
