Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said Thursday night that President Trump needs congressional authorization for military action in Syria after Trump ordered an airstrike in retaliation for a deadly chemical attack earlier this week.
Godfrey’s note: What congress?
Paul also tweeted, “While we all condemn the atrocities in Syria, the United States was not attacked.” Well, maybe it will be now Paul if the neocons have their way. By the time America and the Russians get done with Syria it could be a radioactive wasteland, then all the kids will be dead. I think this is Trump trying to get the deep state off his back or getting high off the fumes of his newfound power. Now it’s Russia’s move. Will they let this strike go unpunished after propping up Assad after all these years?
