It’s Friday rush hour and Hector Herrera tries to change lanes on a busy Hialeah street. Jairo Linarte won’t let him in. What happens next turns violent, goes viral and lands Herrera in the back of a police car. It’s not an uncommon tale in South Florida where a simple traffic tiff can end with a ticked-off driver giving the middle finger, putting a gun in your face — or taking a baseball bat to a car.
